Theresa A. Sheets is experienced in oil and gas law, including issues of land use, negotiation of oil and gas leases, representation of clients in matters before the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality under oil and gas laws, negotiation of wind leases, and various aspects of wind farm development. She also specializes in family law with an emphasis in mediation, dispute resolution and estate planning. 

Ms. Sheets earned her law degree from the Michigan State University College of Law and was in private practice in Hillsdale, Michigan before joining the Loomis Law Firm in 1998. Ms. Sheets has lectured on leasing; title and trust ownership at conferences of the Michigan Association of Professional Landmen.
